Ship's
bells ring, are you listening?
O'er the sea, stars are glistening;
A beautiful sight,
We're happy tonight,
Sailing with the Pearl once again.
Gone
away is the Navy,
Here to stay, blue and wavy,
The wide-open sea
Is calling to me,
Sailing with the Pearl once again.
On
the foredeck we can build a stick man,
Then pretend that he's the Commodore;
He'll say, "Aren't you hanged yet?"
We'll say, "No, man,
But you can try again
When we're ashore!"
Later
on, we'll conspire
How to test the Navy's ire,
With plans that we've laid
To pillage and raid,
Sailing with the Pearl once again.
On
the poopdeck we can build a stick man,
And pretend that he's that fool, Gillette:
We'll have fun annoying the Lieutenant,
'Till we heave him o'er the side and leave him wet!
When
it blows, ain't it thrilling?
Waves a-roll, froth is spilling;
We'll frolic and play the piratical way,
Sailing with the Pearl once again.
