Tangled beads
Broken dreams
Smoky bottles of rum

Tears of salt
On a lone dark face
Carven locks of wood

Yearning, wanting, needing
Waiting, hoping, longing
Praying, crying, gasping

Vengeance taken
Love rekindled
Freedom gained
