it should not be
like this
the dark
heat and copper
in her mouth
from where she
bit down
shuddered
thoughts scattered
sparrows all
into his hands
but — oh — but
surely it
should be a gentle thing
not such
beautiful
such
luminous fervour
quickening
from the inside out
she had not known
breathed him in
lacings cut loose
she hated
him
the corset
this
it should not be
but it was
