~ Ballin'
the Jack ~
"Dance w'me, luv."
"Yer daft, Jack."
"Aye, I am, but stating the obvious doesn't answer my question,
Ana."
"What question? Sounded more like an order t'me [big pause]
-- Captain."
"Apologies, beggin' yer pardon, Mi'lady, may I have the
honor of this dance?"
"D'ye realize we're on deck Jack? I'm on watch!"
"No worries, luv. I watch you; you watch the stars. It's
a beautiful night tonight. Beautiful as you - almost."
"The only thing you need to watch is yer hands, ye fool
pirate."
"Are ye gonna hit me, Ana?"
"Let's get this over with, what kind of dance d'ye want?"
"Since ye put it that way, luv, I'll settle for me favorite---very
ancient dance, it is."
"What about music?"
"No worries, luv, we'll be making our own music."
"Ah! So it's THAT kind of dance ye want now, is it?"
"That I do, Ana, now and for the rest o'me life. [flnch]
What's WRONG Ana, yer slap is gettin' weak!"
"That was a caress. Jack. Ye can tell tha' cause yer still
on yer feet."
"Just as'well, cause I mean' t'sweep ye off yours."
"Daf
.mmphff......mmmmmm."
Wearing naught but starlight, two pirates danced to the music
of the spheres.

~ Music
Challenge ~
"'Tis time, Cap'n," Cotton said, as he watched Jack
pace back and forth across the cabin floor.
Jack, a little wild eyed, stared at the pirate. The soft swell
of music reached his ears, and his tanned face paled. It was time,
Cotton had said so, so it must be.
"Cap'n?"
But the music was in his veins now, dragging adrenalin and fear
to every part of his body. That the brave, handsome and fearless
Captain Jack Sparrow could be
reduced to a pile of jelly shocked him to the core. He'd fought
the undead with nary a quiver, but this--..
With dragging feet, he made himself ascend to the deck. There,
by the steps to the poop, Elizabeth waited for him. Eyes shining
with love. He glanced a quick look the smiling faces of his crew.
All were laughing at his capture.
He took one unsteady step, and then another, eyes fixed on the
woman who had caught him fair and square. Standing before them,
Norrington held the Book of
Common Prayer, ready to perform the ceremony.
"Cap'n. Tis time."
Jack woke with a start, the sound of a fiddle drifting down from
the deck above, and sighed.

My Hanging and I'll Laugh If I Want To ~
A parody
of "It's My Party and I'll Cry if I Want To"
Chorus:
Its my hanging and Ill laugh if I want to,
Laugh if I want to, laugh if I want to.
You would laugh too, if you knew what I do.
You can glare at me all you want, my friends.
Ive run through all the raindrops.
Ive lived my life in freedom,
Though it ends with sudden stops.
(Chorus)
At least Ive had my share of thrills and fun.
Ive escaped a thousand plights.
Playing priest was a riot!
I could give my own last rites.
(Chorus)
Now Will has done a stupid Turner thing.
Were dumping marines in droves.
The whole forts in an uproar,
And a feathers up my nose.
(Chorus)
Cottons parrot is flying high above.
Liz has made James humour vile.
Im about to take a dive;
Ive got reason for a smile.
(Chorus)
The Black Pearl is sailing around the point,
Like a queen come for her king.
Oh what a perfect surprise!
If I werent swimming, Id sing.
Chorus:
Its my hanging and Ill laugh if I want to,
Laugh if I want to, laugh if I want to.
You would laugh too, if you knew what I do.

~ Twelve
Pirates Singing ~
James Norrington was having a dream. He was back
in England in the snow at Christmas Time. He could smell the pungent
rum infusing with sweet raisin, the salt lovingly rubbed into
roasting pork, and hear carolers outside singing... singing...
yohoho and a bottle of rum?
James rose up so suddenly he bashed his forehead
against the low shelf above his bed. Wincing, he rubbed at the
ached centered behind his eyes and staggered to the window. His
stern glare at the tableau below it caused an abrupt change in
the song.
"On the twelfth day of Christmas, my Captain
gave to meeee... Twelve pirates singing--"
James slammed his window shut with and hissed, "JACK!"

~ Eleven
Soldiers Shooting ~
"But we're following your orders, sir. See here? `There
are to be eleven soldiers to shoot off eleven shots at--'"
"CEASE FIRE! And just how do you know that these are my
orders?"
"It says so right here, sir, see? Sincereliest, Commodore
James."
"Sincereliest? Is it your experience that I avail myself
of the suspiciously nonsensical word, sincereliest?" James
barely restrained the impulse smash his eyes through his skull
since it might detract from his otherwise unshaken demeanor. "I
SAID CEASE FIRE!"
"Er
.well
" the officer flushed darkly and
quickly disappeared.
"12 pirates singing? 11 soldiers shooting? What next? STOP
SHOOTING ALREADY!"
