~ Hectic Shopping ~

Crowds jostled and people called their wares from their stalls. Jack hated getting gifts for people this way. It was so much easier to use what he'd plundered. But Elizabeth wouldn't appreciate that, and he wanted something new for AnnaMaria. He saw a lovely necklace, but as he reached for it, an elder woman shoved him out of the way and quickly snatched it up. Ah, well, that brooch would be more suitable for a wedding gift. Again, as he reached for the gift, he was shoved hard, and the ornament was stolen. Actual shopping was such a hassle.
